Gael Strack, J.D. is the Chief Executive Officer of Alliance for HOPE International. She served as the first Director of a Family Justice Center anywhere in the United States. She is the founder of the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention, a program of the Alliance, and one of the leading experts in the country on the handling of strangulation assaults in domestic and sexual violence. She has taught law school for 20 years and is a widely published author, researcher, and social and legal change advocate.
